We Move As One 🩵

Dolphins are my favourite ocean creatures, drawn to their playful and joyful nature and shaped by my own encounters with them while surfing in Australia. While those memories are filled with joy and energy, this painting explores the quieter expression of connection, depicting three dolphins rising together from darker waters towards the light. Soft rays evoke warmth and openness, while their shared movement reflects trust, calm and the ease of moving forward with the current rather than against it.✨

As I painted this, I found myself reflecting on my own journey. Being an artist can feel very solitary. Lately I’ve poured so much into my work that I’ve almost hidden myself away in my studio, hibernating and pushing forward alone.

I’m so grateful for the friends who support me and share my wins and setbacks, but I also feel a deep desire to find more like-minded artists around me and build community locally.
