Jellyfish are such mesmerising creatures. They’ve survived in our oceans for hundreds of millions of years and have no brain, heart, bones or blood, yet they exist in such a beautiful way.

There’s something about the ocean that feels like another world entirely. Jellyfish drift through the darkness, illuminated against the deep blues of the water. The deep ocean and the night sky are both vast and largely unknown, filled with things we can only imagine. I wanted to capture that strange, dreamlike quality, and I love how in the end the jellyfish seem to swirl and dance around each other, adding a little playfulness to the mystery.

This piece is about finding beauty in the unknown, and how even the darkest places can be filled with wonder.✨
