Burst of Paradise celebrates the warmth, colour and energy of the tropics. Vibrant oranges, corals and warm reds surround a brilliant orange parrot amongst lush botanical forms, creating a painting filled with warmth, energy and joy.
After months immersed in ocean blues, working with such a vibrant tropical palette felt incredibly refreshing - like drinking a freshly squeezed glass of orange juice on a hot summer’s day.
This painting sparked a new love for tropical colour and botanical subjects, inspiring me to explore more of this vibrant world within my own work.
